💚 We LOVE our Teachers 💚
East Dallas Chamber - Teacher of the Year Award

The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Teacher of the Year Awards.  The purpose is to recognize educators K-12 who are providing outstanding education for their respective students. Recipients of this award must have made significant contributions toward innovative, unique and novel programs that are serving to improve and promote education.

There will be awards for public and private elementary, middle and high schools in the East Dallas area of Dallas. A total of six awards will be presented. Each recipient will receive a $250 cash prize and each school represented will also receive $250.

Nominate a Teacher Now

Parents and students are able to nominate a current or former teacher who made an impact in their life - in the classroom or during Specials - ALL teachers are eligible. Every nomination increases our chances of receiving the $2,500 Life-Changing Teacher Award and helps unlock up to 7 awards four our district. We still need quite a few submissions to have more teachers be eligible to win! Students and parents can do as many submissions as they want, and are encouraged to use the prompts on the nomination form to describe the impact those teachers have made.
⭐ This is also a great chance for students to practice their writing and typing at home. ⭐
