Ready, Tech, Go! Registration

When: Tuesday, April 14, from 6-7:15pm 

Where: Sanger auditorium and foyer

What: The Sanger PTA has been awarded a grant to host a technology education session for parents and caregivers. Join us for an evening to learn about digital readiness and digital safety and citizenship.

Dinner and childcare will be provided. Anyone who registers by Friday, April 10 and attends will be entered into a drawing to win prizes!

Choose a Session

Session 1: Ready, Tech, Go! (Sanger Auditorium)

Who: Parents/caregivers of elementary aged children or those who do not have their own smart phone yet. 

  • Is your child asking for their own device? 
  • Do they want more freedom online?
  • How do you know if they are ready? 

During this session parents and caregivers will:

  1. Reflect on various aspects of screen readiness. 
  2. Become familiar with tools and resources that help families determine screen readiness and discuss digital life.
  3. Gain new ideas to promote a healthy digital home.

Session 2: Be Internet Awesome (Sanger Foyer)

Who: Parents/caregivers of Middle School aged children or those who have their own smart phones and devices

  • Calling All Parents to Get Talking About Digital Safety and Citizenship! 

During this event, parents and caregivers will:

  1. Learn about how to keep their families smart, alert, strong, kind and brave online.
  2. Explore the Be Internet Awesome Family Guide and Google’s Family Link app.
  3. Engage with their peers to discuss their families’ online experiences and solutions.
