Arrival & Dismissal

School Hours

7:30 AM - Doors open
8:00 AM - Instruction begins / Announcements
10:00 AM - Cut-off for items dropped off in office
2:30 PM - Cut-off for early dismissal
3:10 PM - Staggered dismissal begins - PreK

3:15 PM - Kinder-2nd grade

3:18 PM - 3rd-5th grade
3:20 PM - Middle School 

Arrival

Drop-off for car riders occurs on San Leandro Drive - refer to the map and details below for specific directions regarding traffic flow for carpool and parking.

Option 1: Carpool Line

• Parents who utilize the carpool line must remain behind the wheel.
• Alex Sanger staff and volunteers will open doors and help the students get out if needed.
• Staff will ensure that our youngest students make it to their morning arrival location inside. 

Option 2: Park

• If you prefer to park and walk your student to the door, you must park on the neighborhood streets beyond the primary flow of carpool traffic. 
• There will be no parking on San Leandro in front of the campus or on Whittier Ave. 

2026/2027 Bus Routes:

All posted times for bus stops are approximate as there are several variables which may contribute to arrival times such as weather, traffic and other unexpected factors. Students should arrive at their assigned bus stop at least 5-10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
