Through our Book Buddy/Math Mentor program, teachers will identify students to participate, and volunteers will work 1:1 with their assigned student for 30 minutes on a weekly basis throughout the school year. The students' class schedules will dictate when reading/math time needs to occur, but the times available will be during school hours.
Volunteers are required to attend in-person training prior to starting with the program, even if you volunteered through the program in a previous year. This signup is to indicate which training you plan to attend (held at Sanger). If you cannot attend on these dates, you will need to work out an additional time with Ms. Cerrillo prior to being approved as a volunteer. Please also note that all volunteers must submit a background check application through Voly each school year:
